GLOSSARIES
Headcollar; used for leading ponies around yard, to and from field.
Bridle; used for riding, it includes bit and reins (steering and braking).
Saddle; for sitting on when riding.
Stirrups; for riders feet.
Girth; round ponies tummy keeps saddle in place.
Rugs; usually used in winter to keep ponies warm and clean.
Sand School; flood lit arena 20 by 40 metres in which lessons take place.
